Big Boy Room Update

Almost three years ago to the day, I wrote about some updates I tackled in Sebastian’s room (check out this old post).  At the time, we had been in our house only six months and Sebastian had just turned three years old.  Clearly, it was EXTREMELY bare and very much a blank slate.

Sunroom Situation

It’s no secret I fell off the blogging band wagon for a couple years.  The downward spiral started when I got pregnant with Jackson almost three years ago and that first trimester just zapped all energy.  Between the standard first trimester exhaustion, working full time, and then of course chasing after the other two boys (~18 months and 3 years old at the time), I didn’t have it in me to blog.  I’m not even in the same arena – or even planet! – as the big name bloggers out there, but what I do know is that each post (even on this little ol’ blog here) takes a LOT of time.  Creating digital content, staging the photos, taking photos, editing photos, and posting it on a website (all on top of doing the actual DIY work) was just too much for this pregnant mama at the time.  BUT!  I didn’t totally stop all DIY.  That still kept going, albeit at a slower pace.  It was the posting part that stopped.

Family Room Update!

I know, I know...I pretty much forgot I created a home/DIY blog, too.

Well, it's been....something.  Something along the lines of crazy. And BUSY. And did I mention crazy? Definitely cray-ZEE.  With lots of birthday party balloons along the way.

24 Shades Of Grey

Get  your mind out of the gutter.  I’m just talking about paint shades.  Sheesh.  But did you hear Charlie Hunnam backed out of role of Christian Grey? I can't wait to see who's cast next for the steamy role!  Although, let's be honest...it's going to be quite the feat to see how they're going to pull off this movie without...umm, shall we say a VERY adult rating?!  Anyway, let's move along, folks...

After giving Holden’s room a brighter look, I figured I better keep up the momentum and tackle Sebastian’s very similar room as well before the weather got too cold and opening up the windows wasn’t an option to air it out.  Here is his room before:
